Newly discovered facts about myself

If you don’t know by now, camping is not my favourite thing to do! Here are three things I did to make it a little more enjoyable though.

Ten days was a pretty long time to go camping for someone who needs alone time and space to decompress and recharge.

There was lots of time to reflect while on our trip. There were a few moments I was able to get out alone on my paddle board, float just far enough I couldn’t hear the chaos of the shore, and just be!

Here are a few things I learned while on our camping trip:

-ten days is too long

-meeting new people is awkward

-it is hard to not think about work

-I am addicted to my phone (which is why I turned off my data to deter me from spending time on it)

-I care way too much about my eyebrows and feel super self conscious about them

-it is hard for me to give up control, and let’s face it, with camping a lot of things go out the window!

-rope swings still bring a smile to my face!

When was the last time you were on a rope swing!?
